OMRON’s Focus on Remote Patient Monitoring

In keeping with this mission, we recognise our role as a global healthcare device manufacturer to contribute to the world’s pressing need to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
A key part of this fight is to alleviate the patient load at healthcare facilities and enable doctors to support the health of their patients remotely – particularly patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
As such, we are accelerating our collaboration with partners from various sectors within the healthcare ecosystem and supporting the deployment of remote patient monitoring solutions in a variety of forms.
In Feb 2019, we have enhanced our service business capabilities through our joint venture with iAPPS Pte Ltd to form HeartVoice. This has allowed us to develop software and integration solutions at scale and speed.
To date, OMRON Healthcare has developed a range of remote patient monitoring capabilities, including state-of-the-art connected devices, secured cloud storage and data transfer protocols, doctor dashboard and advanced risk stratification algorithms.
