A clinically validated BPM is being evaluated by an independent organization and met the stringent requirements as set out by international organizations such as Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation Standard (AAMI) and European Society for Hypertension (ESH).
Some patients have specific health conditions that affect the accuracy of blood pressure measurements, for example: hemodynamic changes during pregnancy*, arterial stiffness in diabetes patients and cuff size for obese patients.
